New vacancy for Committee member

At its recent meeting (see notes published in the members only section) the committee decided to invite applications from members interested in filling a new committee post. Unlike other committee members, the post will not carry a specific role, but the appointment will enable another member to participate fully in committee affairs and perhaps bring a fresh perspective to the committee's proceedings.

As for all committee members, the appointment will last until the AGM when committee members are (re)elected.

Recently, the twice yearly committee meetings have been held by Zoom and, while the committee is likely to resume physical meetings when this becomes permissible, the new member need not feel obliged to attend in person if this is not convenient. Our current website editor lives in Ireland and unfortunately is therefore unlikely ever to be able to attend in person!
