Victoria Yacht Moulds for sale

Victoria and Frances Yachts were built on the shores of the Hamble River to the designs of Chuck Paine.  The Victoria 34 has been the preferred design of the Joint Services Adventurous Sail Training Centre for the past twenty years, having been subjected to several major refits during that time.  There were fewer hulls of the Victoria 38 built, but they include the hull (Wild Song) which became the home of Paul Heiney during his single handed passage back to Dartmouth, Devon, from the shores of South America.  The hulls have an outstanding reputation for their sea keeping qualities and are as popular today, with their owners, as they have ever been.

Tim Gearing of Classic Marine International Limited is the current owner and custodian of the original moulds of both the 34 and 38, but ill health prevents their further utilisation for the benefit of new owners that wish to combine classic yacht features, in a boat with excellent sea keeping qualities, that is easy to sail single handed on extended passages.

Both the Victoria Shadow Association and Tim hope that a new owner and custodian can be found for the hulls who will carry forward the opportunity for future hulls to be laid up, and fitted out to owner’s specifications. If you are interested please contact me at info@victoriashadow.co.uk,  or Tim at tim-gearing@btconnect.com .

Chairman Yachts and
Honorary Secretary Victoria Shadow Association.
