Another beautiful day ghosting along off the coast of County Antrim, N.Ireland. Making nearly 2 knots believe it or not.

Re: Victoria 34 ANITRA

I think my partner and I would have done violence to something to have winds like that on our holiday off the south coast of Ireland over the last 3 weeks. Quite a few days of F6, on the nose, no matter where we wanted to go! Number of skippers we spoke to had the same grousing about the weather - very unseasonable for August.

Re: Victoria 34 ANITRA

Another little treat for Anitra. I bought and refurbished a Sestrel Major pedestal compass over the winter. Refurbished inside and out, which wasn't cheap! Proper compass oil is £30/litre and it holds almost 2 litres. Other small bits are very pricey too, but the end result was worth it.
