Removing the rudder on a Vic 30

Hi,

The survey on my recently acquired wheel steered Vic 30 picked up movement of the rudder blade on the stainless stock and has recommended that the rudder be removed and split to rectify this. Has anyone removed the rudder from a Vic 30 and if so any advice would be welcome. Incidentally, the engine and the fuel tank will be removed and replaced which should make access a bit easier - I hope!

Re: Removing the rudder on a Vic 30

Hello Tim,

The only thing that search turns up that might be even vaguely relevant is https://www.victoriashadow.co.uk/forum/ … php?id=826 - the comment from Alex about how the whole thing goes together. I've not seen anything in my trawling of the old Waterlines articles.

Thanks Duncan, I had picked up on the string that you highlight. I'm in the process of removing the engine and fuel tank (both to be replaced)which should make access a bit easier.
