Victoria 800 vertical windlass

Has anyone fitted an (electric) vertical windlass through a bowsprit on a 26? Just wondering what pitfalls may lie in wait for us!

If you look at the pictures of the one currently for sale in Plymouth you may get some idea.

It might be of interest that Maxwell make a vertical windlass suitable for fitting to decks up to 150mm which is probably what you might be looking at if you go through the bowsprit.

Re: Victoria 800 vertical windlass

Thanks for the responses. We had a look at your link , Simon. Unfortunately  the photos were a bit grainy on our kit.
The Maxwell looks interesting, Jeremy. Jimmy Green does them.
We were looking because Leo broke his collarbone at Easter, so I had to do all the anchor work! We have the winter now to procrastinate on what happens next...
