When I was refurbishing my own Frances 26, Inyoni, I decided that a Navik would be my first choice as a wind vane self steering system for a Frances 26, as it is very light and very sensitive.
I found someone who had 2 for sale in New Zealand. He was not willing to sell only 1 unit, so I bought both and shipped them to Malaysia, where I rebuilt both, and fitted 1 to my boat Inyoni. The other is for sale. It would of course require custom mounts to fit on the stern of a Frances.
If you are interested, I can take some photos of my one on Inyoni, and the one I have for sale. I want US $ 400.00 for the unit, (which is half of what I paid). Shipping from Malaysia would also be required of course.
