Pippin has taken me beyond what I ever thought possible, peaks I now realise I don't intend to climb again, so I have decided to let her go to a new home.

Some members will know something of her, and any who might be interested in taking her on should contact my fellow Jester sailor, Duncan Lougee a truly heroic solo skipper who was with me on the last JC Azores, at Clarke and Carter tel:01473 659681.

Please only deal at least in the first instance with Duncan.

As to my boating future, I am following in the very large footsteps of our previous esteemed Chairman, Jon Spencer, in taking on a small elderly motorboat, one which I fully intend to commute cross Channel.

In making this statement I guess I am also bidding farewell to the Victoria Owners Association, a body I have been proud to be part of for 5 or so years.

Fair winds! as Jon would say
