The Association



Beginnings

The Victoria Shadow Association was started in 1991 as an Owners Association for people with boats that have been built by Victoria Marine or it's successors,Shadow Boat Builders Ltd. and Victoria Yachts Ltd.  This includes the Shadow Motor Cruisers, Frances and Victoria Yachts.  The Inaugural Meeting was held on the 10th March of that year.
 

Objectives

The objectives of the Association are:

To establish a permanent link of friendship between, and to promote mutual benefit amongst, all owners of Victoria Yachts and Shadow Motor Cruisers;

To hold meetings to permit the proper functioning of the Association and to produce periodical publications for the exchange of information;

To encourage the exchange of ideas concerning the building, fitting-out, modification and performance of the boats and to exchange information about the current activities of the members of the Association;

To encourage yacht sailing and motor yachting by the holding of rallies and regattas and the giving of prizes and to organise such other activities as the Association may determine.

Cost of membership

The cost of belonging to the Association is an Annual Subscription of £15 running from the 1st February each year.  If you are an overseas owner, the Annual Subscription is the equivalent of £10 in foreign currency, or £5 sterling.
