This photograph is of us in the Crinan Canal on our way back to Dunstaffnage after completion of our 18 month refit on the Clyde.

Staffa 2009

We had a terrific week of good weather in September and as August had been very poor we took the opportunity to end the season on a high note and had a trip round Mull. I had not been in Fingal's Cave Staffa since 1974 and although conditions were not perfect, no wind but a big swell, we got ashore and into the cave. I attach a picture of "Raven" and our friends Nich38 "Chincherro" off Staffa.

We also had Tinker's Hole to ourselves - a rare occurrence, and I attach a photo of "Raven" anchored there, taken from "Chincherro".
