Jenter is a
cutter-rigged Frances 26. She was laid up at Westerly-Victoria's
premises in Waterlooville, before being fitted out at Warsash.
The yard number was 9445.
Jenny and Peter
Cosker have owned her since new and were present for the
launching on the 3rd December 1993 at Stone Pier Yard in Warsash.
The partial underlining of our christian names gives a clue to
the choice of boat name. The idea was suggested by James Boulton
of Victoria Yachts Limited when we could think of nothing better
ourselves!
Jenter is normally
berthed at Brighton Marina and has sailed an average of 1200nm a
year. Her travels have taken her from Woodbridge on the Deben to
the Isles of Scilly over here, and as far as Douarnenez in
Brittany, on the other side.
The photograph shows
Jenter approaching the Western Solent off Hurst Castle in a bit
of a blow. |
