high aspect jib for a Frances 26?

Has any owner of a sloop rigged Frances 26 ever considered or executed the idea of fitting a so called high aspect jib?
All around me I hear stories of the superior upwind performance of a high aspect jib and improving the upwind performance of CLARA I'm very much interested in. Of course I'm aware of the drawback of the low aspect keel of the Frances 26, but the rather wide sheeting angle of the gib (and genoa) may also play a role. Might a high aspect jib with a narrower sheeting angle, i.e. inside the stays, produce the same boatspeed as the standard sails, that would mean an considerable improvement. Wonder if there's anyone who can tell wether fitting a high aspect jib is a good idea at all.
