Heating systems for Victoria 30

Can anyone make any recommendations about the best way to add a heating system to a Victoria 30?

With  thanks for any advice

Re: Heating systems for Victoria 30

Hi Jonathan,

I installed a bulkhead mounted Sigmarine 100 diesel heater on my V30. I am not sure I would recommend it though as it was a struggle to get it to work properly. After years of trying to get a gravity fed fuel system to work properly I gave up and installed a small diesel tank with the specified electric fuel pump. Not ideal but does give out a significant amount of heat and dries the cabin out very nicely. However, it is somewhat temperamental and priming can be a chore.

Cheers, Jamie

I installed an Eberspacher D2. The heater unit is mounted under the cockpit floor behind the engine with the outlet duct leading to the the bulkhead to the port off the companionway steps at floor level. It takes its feed from a standpipe in the main fuel tank. it works fine and keeps it snug.
