Come to Wivenhoe on a bright winter's day.
Come to our East Coast Social
on Saturday, 6th March 2010 at Wivenhoe!
|
Start at "The Rose and Crown" public house on the waterfront.
Plan to arrive at twelve noon and get your food order in early. Relax in the sunshine with a drink. Talk with old friends and make some new ones.

When instructed, move to the Nottage Maritime Institute, just next door.
Take some time to study the wooden boats under construction in the traditional manner on the ground floor before going upstairs to the sail loft, now a library, picture gallery and lecture room.
We are expecting Chris Jeckells of Jeckells the Sailmakers to give us a talk. Why not use the following link to visit their website and prepare some questions for Chris? Don't forget to return here afterwards, though.

What else do you need to know?
We have a raffle. If you can bring some small gift or other sailing item, it can be raffled and help the association raise money. Thank you.
We are also served tea and cakes, which are definitely not to be missed!
If your mind is made up and you want to come, then our East Coast Regional Organiser would like to know. It is Anne Grubb, of course, who is also the Chairman of the association! You can use the link below to send her an e-mail.
