The association has
just learnt of the death of James Boulton, who was the Sales Director
of Victoria Yachts Ltd. Most of the yachts and motor-cruisers we now
own would have originally been sold by James. Bob Hathaway tells us he
died unexpectedly in August 2009 but has no further details. |

Chuck Paine has retired
from yacht designing and sold the nearly 200 designs of C. W. Paine
Yacht Design Inc. to his former employees Mark Fitzgerald and Ed Joy.
Through Mark and Ed you can still gain access to the drawings and
design rights for these excellent designs. Thank you to Robert Barratt
for bringing this to our attention. The Association is writing to
Chuck to wish him a long and happy retirement.
